Declared direction

Silicon · a P9e Microsystems division

Semiconductor is a direction the group has declared, not a capability it sells. The foundation is real: the electronics bench already does FPGA design, RTL and verification work, and the determinism thesis has an obvious endpoint in silicon you control. What does not yet exist is a chip programme, a tape-out, or a product.

PlainlyWe have not taped out a chip. This page describes where the group intends to go and the work that would make it credible — not something you can buy from us today.

Where it stands

The honest position

01

What exists today

FPGA design, RTL development and verification inside the electronics bench, applied to payload processing and avionics.

02

The near path

Deepening verification practice and IP reuse — the disciplines that make a first ASIC programme survivable rather than ruinous.

03

Why it matters to the group

Deterministic behaviour is easiest to guarantee when you own the logic. Silicon is the far end of the same argument that drives our firmware practice.

04

What we are not claiming

No fabrication, no tape-out record, no product roadmap with dates on it. Those come after a first programme, not before.

Interested in where Semiconductor is going?

Research partnerships and conversations, yes. A purchase order, not yet — and we would rather say so now.
